Form the seasoned chicken mixture into patties of desired size and thickness. Cook the chicken patties either on a grill or in a pan over medium heat until they are thoroughly cooked, golden brown, and have a crispy exterior.

While the chicken patties are still hot, top them with slices of your favorite cheese. Common choices include cheddar, Swiss, or Monterey Jack. Allow the cheese to melt slightly over the patties, creating a creamy layer of goodness. Prepare the black pepper corn sauce by crushing black peppercorns to release their flavor. In a saucepan, melt some butter or olive oil over medium heat and add crushed black pepper corns. Sauté for a minute until fragrant. Then, add cream or milk and simmer gently until the sauce thickens slightly. Adjust seasoning with salt and additional pepper if needed.

Toast burger buns lightly. Place a cheese-topped chicken patty on the bottom half of each bun. Spoon a generous amount of the black pepper corn sauce over the chicken patty. Optionally, you can add lettuce, tomato slices, or caramelized onions for extra flavor and texture. Top with the other half of the bun.
